  • What is included in your base pricing and how come I don't see a full list of collections?

    We don’t list out all of the pricing options because we customize a collection for almost all of our couples to match exactly what they are looking for.  Therefore, we don’t list anything out here because it just ends up being confusing in the end.  We would be happy to set up a time to talk via Skype, the phone, or in person, to walk you through how everything works but most couples do end up booking something in the $5000-$5500 range.

  • Do you have insurance?

    We are fully insured and happy to provide your venue with an insurance certificate upon request.

  • Will there be a 2nd photographer?

    Although there are some options to exclude a 2nd, which we do on occasions to work with couples budgets, 99% of the time we have a 2nd Photographer with us.  Jay and Sandi always shoot together unless other arrangements are made with the client prior to the wedding.

  • How many images will we receive?

    Typically couples will receive an average of 50 images per hour of coverage they have.  It is very important for us to tell the story of your wedding day in a way that does justice to such an important day.  We find that this range of images allows us to capture everything that tells your story and gives us the ability to be creative with the moments that you will cherish forever.

  • Are the images we received edited?

    Yes!  All the images you receive are edited and ready for print!  We have spent a lot of time to develop a processing technique that gives a very film like quality to your images which you will receive on all of your images.

  • Do we receive a copyright release?

    We only offer a copyright release on the delivered images for our top package. We like to be the ones providing the prints, canvases, and albums rather then having our clients order them online or from Walmart. We offer lifetime guarantees on all of our prints and the highest quality products on the market. We also have our monitors calibrated to properly provide the correct color profiles to the print companies when ordering, which is an important part of the ordering process.

  • Do you offer videography?

    Unfortunately we do not offer videography services at this time.  We would be more than happy though to send you a few videographers who we absolutely love.

  • How much time do you recommend we leave for pictures?

  • What if catastrophe strikes and you can't be there the day of my wedding?

    Well knock on wood that this never happens….  But if it does, Jay & JD are always there for each other,  but if the backup is already booked we also have a network of very high end and talented wedding photographers who are all there for each other at moments notice, no questions asked.  We even have a Facebook group for it!

  • What equipment do you use?

    We use a wide variety of professional grade equipment ranging from Canon, to Profoto, to Nikon, to Leica.  We have everything we need to get the image we imagine in our heads!  We also have enough backups to shoot 3-4 weddings at once, so no worries there.

  • How long will it take us to receive our images

    It typically takes 6-8 weeks to finish a wedding and have your gallery online and ready for you to view.

  • Do you have wedding albums

    Yes of course!!! We love to build wedding albums for you as there is nothing like reliving your day through prints.  All of our albums are custom designed and then hand made by one of the best suppliers in the industry, who of course backs up the build quality for the life of your album!

  • How do you protect our files?

    We are extremely paranoid and careful with all of our picture files we create.  All of our primary cameras shoot to two memory cards providing immediate backup.  Once we are home all those files go onto a main RAID hard drive and are then backed up in a 3rd hard drive and kept in a separate location than the other ones.   We are definitely paranoid and go to an extreme to protect your files.

  • Do you offer Engagement Sessions?

    Yes we do :)!  They are often included or discounted so just let us know that is something you would like to do.

  • How long are the engagement sessions and how many images do we receive?

    Engagement sessions typically last about an hour to an hour and half and you will receive 30-50 images from them.  All fully edited and all with a personal use copyright.

  • How do we lock in our date?

    To lock in your date requires a $1000 Retainer Fee and a signed contract.  Unfortunately we cannot hold a date until we have both of these and it is first come first serve as we only shoot a limited number of weddings per year.
