The saying “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” is one you won’t hear very often in the creative world, but screamed from the rooftops from those who are afraid of change. When the words “merge” and “partner” were tossed around early in 2015 by JD and myself, the easy answer for us was to stick with the good thing we each had going for us. We had each built our own successful photography businesses, and no real reason to go messing around with what we had. We could have easily kept going our separate ways, but what fun would that be? When you dream big, you take risks to make them dreams come true.
JD, Sandi, and I sat decided to sit down together to just simply feel the idea out. The 3 of us left that discussion willing to take the risk and dream bigger and bolder then we had before… together, as one team. In March, we created Twisted Oaks Studio and began preparing ourselves for the end of our separate businesses, Cass Imaging and Two Fifteen Photography.
2016 is going to be a big year for us and our new team, made up of our new studio manager and boudoir photographer Justine McKone, and two associate photographers Laura Napoli and Cecilia Grace. As we say goodbye to Cass Imaging and Two Fifteen, here is a gallery looking back at some of our favorite images captured in 2015, a year we are extremely thankful for. Today starts a new chapter for us, and one that has even more exciting things in store as we venture into the first year as Twisted Oaks. As we continue to write our story, we will continue to use our photography to tell our client’s, only now in a much more fun, artistic, and twisted way!
Here is our best of 2015, enjoy!
