Brandon and Jennifer’s engagement session at Batsto Village was one of those evenings where just about everything lined up, the light was warm and soft the whole time, and we basically just walked the property together and let it happen. Batsto has so much packed into one spot… the old sand roads, the weathered wood barns, the lake, and the mansion with its big arched porch, so we never had to go far to switch it up. To be honest, a lot of the session was simply getting to know each other, which is my favorite part of any engagement shoot, and I think you can see it in how relaxed they are in these. Fast forward a couple of years, and I had the honor of photographing their wedding too.
