Steve & Maria

Steve and Maria’s engagement session was a cold, bright February afternoon in Philly, which to be honest is some of my favorite light to work with… low winter sun, long shadows, and the bare trees in Rittenhouse Square framing the skyline behind them. We walked the park, grabbed a few minutes on the benches, and wandered the side streets with all the old brick and doorways, and they were just easy to be around the whole time. There was even a guy playing hacky sack in the middle of it all, so of course that made the cut. Two months later, I photographed their wedding at the Woolverton Inn.
